About the project
Jahazi project aimed to respond to the job market demand as well as meeting the need for professional growth among youths. University students were trained in soft skills. as well as being encouraged to engage in volunteerism and internships. By this mean, a platform was created, bringing together stakeholders, such as universities, the private sector and policy makers.
Through our work with the youth soft-skills development program, we aimed to provide graduates students with training on employability skills for six weeks. The training was delivered by professional individuals who have excelled in their career or business, thus sharing their experience and serve as inspirational models.
Jahazi Project was implemented in Dar es Salaam, where all university students had an opportunity to apply and participate in the program.
